Lake House in Zurich by E2A Architects
Built on the shore of Lake Zurich, Swiss architectural practice E2A (Eckert Eckert Architekten) has created an intertwining of two houses within one villa.
Architects: E2A Architects
Location: Uetikon, Zürich, Switzerland

The building consists of four clean-cut boxes of monolithic white concrete resting on top of each other, each containing a different aspect of the program.
Inspiration from architect:
The boxes vary in size as each programmatic group requires a different amount of space, and are arranged in varied positions to enhance the illusion of stacked houses. They are align flush to the street side, wasting not one inch of the exclusive lake property.
