Haffenden House by PARA-Project

The Haffenden house is a writing studio and private library designed for two poets in upstate New York, includes a garage, a writing space on the second level, and a reading room on the third level.

A mini pool inside the space is impressive, derived from the ritual of bathing, relaxing, and reflection. The client’s body was measured, scanned, and translated into three curves that all blend together, creating a subtly distorted oval bowl.
