Stacked Country House by NatureHumaine
Erected on a rugged slope of wooded land in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, the Bolton Residence is a beautiful country house in perfect symbiosis with its natural environment, overlooking the vast views of Mount Orford and the valley below.

The house is characterized by two stacked volumes; a wooden clad concrete base anchored into the mountain supports a cantilevered volume above. The black gable roofed part raise into the air looks like the house is floating amongst the trees.
