MMM Corones by Zaha Hadid Architects
Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in collaboration with Reinhold Messner, the Messner Mountain Museum (MMM Corones) is embedded within Mount Kronplatz, South Tyrol, Italy.
Half buried into the cliff top of Mount Kronplatz, 2275 meters above sea level, this new museum consist of ample exhibition space, offices and a cinema, with grottos experience.
Three glass-reinforced fibre concrete terminal jutting out from the rocks, large windows frame the panoramic views of the mountain region, whilst bringing plenty of natural light into the deep structure.
