Brazil summer house / Jan + Ronnie

Jan and Ronnie escape from their busy New Yorkers’ life with their second home, located in the town of Trancoso, on the Brazilian coast. The couple remodeled their holiday escape into a laid back, bohemian lifestyle and open to the air space. Peaceful, tranquil, this house is the perfect spot to unwind.

The house belongs to Jan Eleni Lemonedes and Ronnie Stam , a marriage Yorker who acquired this beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle holiday of their city of residence. The house has a special light that permeates the spaces , I especially like the dining area with such as large windows that open directly to the pool. The lush vegetation is the protagonist and is the focal point of much of the house. And if you look you will see that the house is made entirely of wood and cement, two materials simple and noble .

Surrounded by tropical greenery, the house is simply furnished and hidden on the Brazilian Coast far from the crazy busy life the couple has in NYC
