Ascent Modular Seat by Brad Ascalon

Created by NYC-based design studio Brad Ascalon for Swedish brand Mitab, Ascent is a modular beam sofa system designed by Brad Ascalon specifically for public environments such as airports and lobbies.

The design accentuates the soft, organic seat by contrasting the form with a monolithic base. The combination of these opposing dynamics brings unexpected whimsy and beauty to a static seating category and the environments in which they reside.
