Stands in a rural area in the district of Landshut in Bavaria, the House K is a house for art, designed by Freising-based architect Michael Deppisch in collaboration with the sculptor Othmar Prenner.

The new building is a private gallery, its exterior walls and the roof are a single shell cast from white-colored, heat-insulating lightweight concrete.

Converted from an old stable, the interior of the house is a 3 story suite of rooms that is exposed by a vertical and horizontal glass ribbon.

By the choice of material creates a tension with the historical buildings, the old and new theme is interpreted in a sensitive manner. Both buildings combine to form an ensemble that evokes the increase of the special place.
