Created by Beirut-based young designer couple Charbel Gharbieh and Stephanie Sayar, the Arcus is a simple stool made of wood, its sliding system makes it multipurpose, as it can be turned into a bench for two persons, or used as a coffee stool for coffee lovers.

Inspired from the traditional typical Lebanese architecture, specifically from the arches, the main architectural element that describes the Lebanese houses.

“10 100 1000” is a design competition developed by the furniture production house La Metropolitana and the designer Francisco Torres, the project was to create a stool under the same brief: One wooden stool built using traditional wood crafting techniques and designed to fit a 35 x 35 x 35 cardboard box.
