Umusozi Ukiza Healing Hill by MASS Design Group

Located on an adjacent site to the Butaro Hospital, the “Healing Hill” is a Butaro Doctors’ housing project designed by Boston-based non profit firm MASS in collaboration with the Daniel E. Ponton Fund at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Partners In Health, and the Rwandan Ministry of Health.

This Doctors’ Housing consist of four duplexes house that made of local available materials and manufactured by skilled, local craftsmen that were trained throughout the process.
