Built along the terrain, the nursery consists of three “houses” that mutually shifted slightly, they react differently high and are connected by glazed intermediate zones.
All exterior walls are made of bivalve white concrete with wooden cladding. The roofs were covered with hand-cleaved larch shingles.
Spaces that remain as flexible as possible in their design, but still offer stage and retreats for children.
Inspiration from architect:
The differentiated structure take in its scale and in its relation to the context of the existing primary school regardless of the perception and identity of the child. The different houses provide guidance and a clear recognition of the socio-spatial organisation. Children feel a house belonging.
