Standing in a quiet residential area in Tokyo, this house is a private residence and atelier designed for an industrial designer.
This three-story building has a seamless steel sheet exterior and three different size windows that provide external views and natural light, with minimal interiors.

Inspiration from architect:
It was required that this house be not only private in nature but also in coexistence with the client’s feelings for his life’s work, the industrial design.
On the other hand, considering that the act of thinking about design is part of the client’s daily life, it occurred to me that the division between designing and living needed to be as ambiguous as possible.
