House on a Slope by Dellekamp Arquitectos
Located on a rural area near Mexico City, the House on a Slope is an 130 sqm self-constructed dwelling with a simple structure.
But, architect Derek Dellekamp has painted the façade in two colors, so the house showing geometric-like appearance and abstract style.

Inspiration from architect:
The remaining three façades are solid to protect the interior from strong winds and assure privacy from the street. The slope is reflected on the glassed façade in the underground area, continuing the vertical circulation that follows the inclination of the site. To emphasize the diagonal tensions of the topography and the house, the rectangles making up the façades turn into triangles simply by painting them in two colors.
