Created by London-based designer Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for the UK ceramic company Royal Doulton, the Olio is new range of tableware, each piece is minimalism and designed to sit alone just as well as it will sit amongst the rest of the collection.
The extensive range of 40 pieces, includes cutlery, wooden serving pieces, and a full table top ceramic range, all designed for everyday use.

The range is built from a combination of materials and surface finishes: ceramic, wood and stainless steel, different clays, glazed and unglazed elements.
Inspiration from designer:
It is an idiosyncratic mix of shapes and materials; the principle idea behind Olio is that it is not a ‘set’, it is a collection, and because of that the pieces will sit happily alongside other objects in the home.
