This New York loft with Japanese accents was designed by Newton Concepts Furniture & Interior Design. I love the wood sink and overflow of rocks is uniquely arranged.
The owner of this apartment was looking for a New York loft feel combined with Japanese accents. He wanted to combine the guest bedroom as part of the living room for when guests were not there, so we used Japanese style doors to create this partition. We created a separate TV area by using these same sliding doors to cover the TV when not in use and we used tatami mats with storage underneath and floor cushions for use as a TV room, and a futon for when used as a guest room.
