House Saint-Forget by André Wogenscky
Located in the Chevreuse valley, a rural town only 45 km from Paris, the House Saint-Forget is a modernist villa designed by French architect André Wogenscky in 1957.
Nestled in luxurious greenery constituting the upper part of a vast woodland crossed by a brook, two tall chimneys stand at the rooftop terrace, inside is pure white and you wouldn’t be surprised to meet Le Corbusier.

André Wogenscky worked closely with Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier (1887-1965) for 20 years, first as his draftsman and main assistant, later as his colleague and personal friend.

The composition and volumes of the house follow the rules of the ‘Modulor’, architectural concept based on the proportions of the human body.
