Reclining Chair by Robin Day

Originally designed in 1952 by British iconic designer Robin Day and re-launched in 2011 by UK retailer Twentytwentyone, Reclining Chair is a classic and modernist armchair with minimalist frame and a slim angular upholstered seat, floating wooden armrests.

The high comfort levels and clearly articulated structure fulfilled Robin Day’s design sensibilities. The modernist vocabulary of the Reclining chair encapsulates principles that were inherent in much of his wide body of work.
