Located in a very central site, Brazilian architect Angelo Bucci has built a weekend house in downtown São Paulo, a metropolis of 20 million people.
Moreover, this house’s main element is actually a rooftop pool and a solarium, which displayed as two longitudinal volumes at elevation 6 meters altitude.
The maximum height allowed by the law in this city region is 6 m, as such, this overhead pavilion can be simply described as an elevated water tank suitable to swim in.
The ground level is a lush garden, a kitchen is almost completely open to the patio, the only indoor space floating above the ground and underneath the pool.

This building and its program differs from the focus of traditional architectural projects in two ways: the metropolis becomes a possible place to stay and enjoy during the weekends and elements generally considered secondary in a big house become fundamental components.
