Situated on a rocky slope just outside Stockholm, surrounded by lush heather, blueberries and slender pines, Villa Blåbär is a 170 sqm single storey house that blends into the natural topography and color scale.
The house is fully covered in roofing felt, the slate black surface of the exterior contrasts the white interior.
Inspiration from architect:
Delightful views into the lush forest, spaciousness and a daring, uncompromising design was the starting point for the development of this house in Nacka, outside Stockholm.
The challenge was to place all rooms on the same level, while also fitting the geometry of the house with the sloping ground.
