The Tree Flon named ‘L’arbre de Flonville’ is a architecture sculpture that was designed by Samuel Wilkinson in collaboration with Oloom. The Flon district is one of the most vibrant areas today in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Taking the general notion of a standard public square as a starting point, we could considered how we could create a space of familiarity whilst still dynamic, and engaging. Driven by criteria of a central meeting point, need for seating, shade, and to visually communicate with spaces outside the square……
