Designed by the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, the project has been in development since 2006, with a target date for completion in 2017.

Once completed, this giant triangle will be Paris’ first skyscraper in 40 years, the Pompidou Centre built-in 1977 is the last tower to be built in the central city.

Inspiration from architect:

The building’s trapezoidal footprint is generated by rotating the north and south axis from the rectangular plot to create a dynamic setback from the peripheral boulevard to the south and from the Palais des Sport to the north. Its triangular shape reduces casting shadows on adjacent residential buildings.
