The Green Studio by Fraher Architects

Attached to the edge of an old house in the South East of London, the Green Studio is a geometry two-story glass building with a green roof, its workspace for Architectural Practice Fraher.

The crisscrossing red cables extend from the angular double-height ceiling of a ground-floor workplace to the floor’s edge of a small mezzanine office, creating a net and playful space elements.

The studio’s shape and orientation has resulted from a detailed sunlight analysis minimizing its impact on the surrounding buildings and ensuring high levels of day lighting to the garden and work spaces.
