Situated in a typical agricultural village in Flemish area, this single family house has saw-toothed factory roof and black rippled plaster facades, distinctive and standing out an suburban neighbourhood.
The inside is a bright white interior with high ceiling, the entrances on four direction leading to the open living space, and more intimate spaces such as bath and bedroom on the upper level.
Inspiration from architect:
The form references to the old industrial buildings in the region, the windows in the roof and the use of concrete also references to the industrial architecture.
The whole house is kept open, facilitating communication between the whole family. From top to bottom, left to right.
