This summer house in skane is a beautiful country house converted from an abandoned farmhouse, it was the first completed project by Swedish-German architect Jonas Labbé and Dutch architect Johannes Schotanus as LASC studio.

In the region of Skåne farmhouses are typically introvert with modest windows leaving them with a dark inner life. The house is open-up to the fields and the garden by large windows that dissolve in the existing fabric.
The most rigorous intervention is the internal opening up of the house by removing two thirds of the wall and ceilings. This creates one large living and kitchen space that extends to a lounge on the first floor……
