Summer House in Oslo by Irene Sævik

Inspired by Japanese architecture, Irene Sævik recasts a old retreat into a contemporary summer house in southeastern Norway.

This black summer house lies a peaceful woods only forty minutes drive from Oslo. Sævik has renovated and expanded a 39 sqm cabin that built in the 1960s by the Norwegian artist Irma Salo Jæger.
