Located in a scenic area just outside Stockholm, the Six Walls House is a simple geometric weekend house inserted among pine trees and rocks, enjoying the unobstructed views to the sea.
The house consists of six 5.4 meters high walls located along the promenade to the waterfront. Between some of the six walls there are casted slabs that divides the rooms horizontally.
A narrow and tall entrance led to an intimate dining area and a generous living room with abundant light. There also have generous sized bathrooms, bedrooms with balconies, and roof terrace among the pine trees.
Inspiration from architects:
Perhaps as a contrast to the context, we wanted to build the house around a robust and clear material and concrete blocks with cement plaster became an important part.
