Nestled into a steep hillside surrounding by mature cedar and douglas fir in West Vancouver, the Russet Residence is a 425 sqm single family house looks like stacked by a number of glass boxes.
The cantilevered dining room projects out fifteen feet, enjoying the food and surrounding by lush forest, it is impressive!
Inspiration from architect:
Tucked into the hill, the front of the house is deceptively modest in scale, set off by the large mature cedar that anchors the front yard. The topography of the site reveals itself as one descends the exterior stairs adjacent to the forest and follows the exposed concrete wall to the main entry.
