Stands on the southern edge of the village of Scharans in Domleschg, the Residential for the disabled is two new homes for severely disabled children and adults fit in the ensemble of the existing buildings of the Scalottas Foundation.

Inside, the rooms directly to arrange the central living space which is spanned by a vaulted ceiling tent. A flowing spatial relationship is ensured by large sliding doors. The materials of interior finishes, their colors, contrasts and surfaces and strong framing of openings lead to disabled people in the room.

Inspiration from architect:

Following the distinctive topography, line the two buildings such as the castles and palaces in the Domleschg the terrain edge. The cubic term in accordance with, the buildings are constructed in monolithic masonry. The different openings are characterized as relief of plaster and Betongewänden from the facade.
