McLaren Technology Centre by Foster + Partners

Located at rural site on the outskirts of London, made of glass and steel with flowing lines, the McLaren Technology Centre is a two floors building roughly semi-circular the circle being completed by a lake.

Designed by the prestigious Foster + Partners, this architecture is very similar to China’s Yin-yang Fish Taiji Diagram (阴阳鱼太极图).

The Technology Centre provides a headquarters for the group includes design studios, laboratories and testing and production facilities for Formula One and high-performance sports cars.

The Production Centre lies immediately to the south-west of the Technology Centre, they are connected by a subterranean walkway.
