Hi House by Yosuke Ichii Architect

Located on a residential area in the heart of Yao City, the Hi House is three-story single family home built on a narrow site which defined by 1 compartment that 20 Tsubo-kyo.

Providing a strip stairs in the center of the building, and wearing a large skylight on top, the whole space is wrapped in a soft light during the day.

Inspiration from architect:

Since the skylight opening and closing to discharge the heat that has accumulated near the ceiling air flow blow becomes chimney effect, new air enters always from the lower floor, and it is possible that the wind spend comfortably as in summer. In addition, studio space and privacy from neighboring by a high wall of the balcony leading to the second floor living room, including up to deck outside to secure a wide enough a lot of people, friends, relatives and even gathered there.
