Situated at the entrance to the town of Monthey, Valais, the Halle Hasler is a tent-like sale hall for Hasler Company, with the spectacular mountain views as background.
The architecture of the hall is sculptural, but simple wood construction. The main facades and 7 °slope roof all are clad with white industrial aluminum.
This framework defines a smooth shape on the outside, and a rich and complex space inside.
Inspiration from architect:
Such as roofing, facades are inclined inwards, giving the impression of a large tent raised by the geometry and continuous material.
