Crook, Cup, Bow and Twist are 4 types of Wood warping, this project was designed by San Francisco architctural practice SaA using the concept refer to the latent potential energy of all natural systems towards movement.

This single family home stands on a foothill in Marin County, CA, consist of two building, one boxy and another was curved shape, across the lush landscape.

Inspiration from architect:

The project’s intent is to capture and harness the physical and ephemeral sense of these latent natural movements as a way to promote in the architecture the wanderlust the surrounding landscape inspires.
