Casa Bahia Azul by Felipe Assadi + Francisca Pulido

Lying on a sloping site in the Chilean coastal city of Los Vilos, surrounded by the exposed weathered rocks, the Casa Bahia Azul is a private home which is looks like a great ship ran aground on the shore.

Architects: Felipe Assadi + Francisca Pulido, Alejandra Araya
Location: Los Vilos, Chile

The very long freestanding cuboid volume is just made by colored concrete from exterior walls and roofs, those irregular openings all facing towards the bay, overlooking the spectacular sea views.

Inside, the concrete is still the protagonist, simple and elegant, filled by the natural light coming from all directions.
