As a prelude to the “Schönberg” – an 12th century castle ruins – located the site of the former warden house, the Black on White house is a new studio space and a interesting residence.

The building consists of two volumes: a homogeneous, black saddle roof structure – twisted cantilever lying on a white flat roof box, plunging into the hillside slope.

Black is studio and the white belly is house, all accompanied by a view of the natural environment, each open is towards to the lush forest, a reception room is drawn from the incident ray of light on a cantilevered stairs.
