Bobbing on a secluded waterway in Copenhagen Harbour, Lisbeth Juul and Laust Nørgaard designed and built themselves a compact floating house, return to boathouse lifestyle with their daughter and yellow Labrador.

This 80 sqm house has a symmetrical construction with larch-wood shutters and black facade, sustainable and maintenance-free.

Narrow glass doors bisect the width of the house, permitting nature light into, it open seaward, seems to be out the door can jump into the sea.

Inside is a minimal interior with Scandinavian design, five distinct spaces—a hall, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen-dining-living area, and terrace—are apportioned within the plywood-paneled.
